Funny enough Perbix could be a decent fit for Anaheim if they end up moving Lyubushkin (which is likely).

He's barely worth that. He's had a terrible season and he's a rental. Good luck fleecing g another team because he isn't worth more than that.

The '26 1st is unlikely to produce a player as good as Walker at a position Tampa needs(at least not until the late 2020's or 2030). As long as Brisebois feels confident that he can sign Walker to an extension, he's worth a 1st 3 drafts out(which is what it'll likely take for Tampa to have a chance to get him).

Duke's in the last year of his contract. It's just a question of what will get the best total return with only one retention slot for the team between him, Kahkonen, Barabonov, and MAYBE Hoffman/Labanc.

There are no better dmen that the 1st can go towards and that Tampa can realistically afford. Tanev is out of realistic range(and he'll be too expensive and old for Tampa moving ahead anyway). There are other dmen like Fabbro or Carrier from the Preds, Lyubushkin and others in that range as well, but if Tampa wants the top target after Tanev, they'll have to beat a few other teams for Walker, they'll probabaly need to use the '26 1st as part of the deal. Pipe dreams such as Chychrun aren't happening for various reasons.

No, throwing away many assets for Chychrun, if the Sens would even be interested in trading him to Tampa(unlikely) is the mistake. Tampa doesnt need another high priced dman on the left, and Chychrun is much wprse on the right. Further, the team would be unlikely to be able to afford his very large ask on his next deal. It's a waste to throw away a bunch on him, qhen a quality RD is what is needed. It's a pipe dream and a bad one.

they would be able to afford him but that aside a rental is an even worse idea in regards to this teams future

No, they wouldn't be able to afford him and his probabale want of 8+ or 9+ million as a top pairing g defenseman. Even if they could scrape by with it, they'd cripple any other space to address the forward group. Walker, Fabbro, Carrier etc would only be signed if an extension was pretty much a lock, and then the team would be well set on both sides for the next several years at minimum. It doesn't matter because Tampa isn't getting Chychrun. They don't have the immediate assets that the Sens would be looking to acquire for him, even if they considered moving him.

the lightning only have one top pairing d man so it doesn't hurt investing in one and those other options listed aren't going to help tampa win a cup so no point in acquiring them

Chychrun is meh playing on the right, and he's not helping Tampa win a Cup by the team throwing away 4.or 5 prime futures at least for him. Ottawa laughs at just about any offer from Tampa anyway, since Tampa has no 1st in 24 or 25. Getting an affordable RD to shore up the right side will improve the blueline and actually improve their chances. Chychrun will never wear a Lightning uniform for various reasons, as I pointed out. There is no room for another dman at 9 million in Tampa's cap structure, he is unneeded due to positional depth on the left, and Tampa won't be.moving what is needed to even get a conversation started. I deal in fairly realistic moves on here, and Chychrun is not one.

I haven't seen you create one that helps the team either and all the picks you gave away here are all for rentals

Cool, and yours are terrible. Mine are for rentals where at least some can be re-signed. Most of the picks I trade aren't likely to have a high % chance of being NHL impact players anyway. They'll probabaly go after Seeler now on the left and one of Walker/Lyubushkin/Fabbro on the right. All players that help, they can afford now and in the future, and aside from Walker, won't break the bank. If they go for an expensive rental, provided Serg is out for the season, they'll move the '26 1st and another asset onto for Hanifin.

Lol, great retort. As per usual, you add nothing to a Lightning agm, and so like the other worthless Lightning posters on here, back to ignore you go.
