Great signing for the Flames, Pospisil has been a very pleasent surprise this season. I personally got a lot of mileage out of the clip where he went at Marchand.

Love hearing his story to the NHL as well, excited to see more of this guy

Getting rewarded for what he did to Marchand!

Good deal for a young bottom 6 agitator who can produce a bit offensively as well. He stood out to me when the Flames played the Canucks this year

I never expected Pospisil to make it, but he did! This is a perfect contract for a depth guy; you could certainly do worse than Pospisil at 4RW.

I said yes, but I would have preferred to see a 3-5 year contract as if we were over paying him now for better returns/production in the future. He is more of a Bottom-6 Forward at the end of the day

$825-925k like Duehr-Coronato receive seems more appropriate, even Ruzicka only got $775k and doesn’t get injured so often

This said, I love Pospisil’s speed and play style as long as it doesn’t hamper the team and even though every dollar counts in the cap world, it’s only $75-175k/yr than I would have gave him and it’s not the $1.3mil Treliving gave Rooney, so it’s a good signing and I’m happy to have him as a Flame

The contract uncertainty (and Slovakia connection) helped me believe he could be targeted by MTL. Oh well, good for your rebuild CGY!
