If they are out they make this move, and then deal with it in FA again.

If they are in, they stay with what they got.

I’m not sure the Leafs would make that offer to Chicago but it could be a huge benefit if Raddysh can rediscover his scoring touch.

I don’t necessarily think the Hawks would have an interest in any of the players offered other the Minten.

Perhaps Minten and Moldenhauer for Entwistle and Raddysh… again though at some point the Leafs have to keep an eye on the future which probably means Minten is unavailable.

They accept that even without the first. Graves has been a mess and he is signed long term. This gives us a decent winger and an extra 1.75 in cap space to bring in a rental D for the stretch run. This is a slam dunk move for the Pens.

graves stats show an average defenseman, not a "mess"
You act like he's got a 40% corsi. He doesn't.

He's an average defenseman on an average AVA. Period.
I know it maybe hard for you to accept but the other team scores too.
Fact the penguins are the only team not in the playoff hunt who aren't a net - in gf/ga
That says a lot for a team having difficulty scoring.
That's because the defense has played relatively well.

yeah many people use corsi.
Not sure what you are "good lord" ing about.

His play this year has been run of the mil 2nd pairing. Period.

If you want some one to blame on the defense may I point you to the 3rd pairing, who is the only pairing that is bleeding 5v5 goals.

In general the defensive play has been ok, it's the forwards who aren't pulling their weight.

Minten will make an impact as soon as next year... And Cowan could also be next year or the year after that... Year 1 or Year 2 of AM34's contract... So yes
