I'd rather just keep Byrum. If we did move him, he's going to be a piece to get us a center or a goalie.

Need to turn one of those EDMs 2nd or 3rd into a 1st. Campbell alone is a 1st+2nd. Dowd is a 1st. LIndgren is a 2nd and Pac is possibly a 2nd.

HARD pass on the TOR deal. Kamnpf is terrible.

Also pass on the COL deal. I like Byram but he's having a poor year and his health history is sketchy as hell. Not paying a 1st for that.

Caps paying a bit too much on the BUF deal.

need more coming back from edmonton -- people really underrating just how awful that contract is. Pass on the TOR deal, taking on worse money for a 3rd isn't worth it. NJ and LAK are fine. Byram deal makes me nervous especially without knowing where that pick lands -- feels like they already made that bet with Sandin last year and it hasn't really worked out. Middlestadt I feel basically the exact same way.

For top 6 forward Kaliyev; you offer basically a 3rd round pick (Edmonton will be drafting near the end of any round) Dont think so.
