I heard Dubas is looking for a Giroux type trade. Can the avs afford to resign him though?

I know that if they resign Jake, itll make for some tough future decisions for Mikko, LOC, and Georgiev.

Jake is designated only if landeskog ends up on IR. With cap rising to 92 mil in 2 years mikko should have reasonable cap hit

Sharks should absolutely offer to help out Avs by taking Johansens contract but they'd need at least a 3rd along with him for the favor right?

avs are very limited with draft picks, they could maybe do a trade that gets them a 3rd round pick but idk.

I just don't see the fit with him. We have lots of wingers even if landy is done. Rants isn't the 2C option or it would have already been done last year. I don't see them going after jake at all when the need is at 2C.

Avs laugh and decline. Cost controlled 22 yr old top 4 D vs rental UFA winger they can't afford to sign. Then you want them to add? No brainer. Avs decline. Guentzel is good but he's not a need for the Avs.
