-Martin isn't worth that and he's one of Lou's guys, I can't imagine him leaving the Island unless he wanted to. Much more likely he either gets re-signed on a league minimum deal this summer or retires up to the front office, if I had to bet.

-JGP is having a down year and is on the wrong side of 30, plus he has a partial NTC and was never more than a high-end 3C at his peak. With his term and his cap hit he's not bringing back a 1st.

-I like Frost, I just don't like him a 1st and a 4th's worth. If the Isles were bringing in picks I'd rather try and keep them and replenish a pretty barren farm system.

-I've long said that Jersey is probably one of the few situations Varly would waive his NTC for (it's not like he'd really have to move or anything - not the best commute, but people do it!) But I think if a 1st is going to be involved, Isles are going to have to take Vanecek's contract back (which I would be fine doing, tbh)
