Hanifan and Tanev are probably the 3rd and 4th best Dmen for the Flames. Flames GAA versus Leafs.....Flames have allowed nine fewer goals this season.

Tanev for Brodie, that's about fair on ice swap. Robertson and Liljegren rejects.?? Gee, Roberson now that he's playing is scoring about the same rate as 5.8 Mango on the Flames. Liljegren plays 17 minutes on a playoff team. Niemela certainly could be an NHL, but probably not till 25/26.

The Leafs defense is horrible. They have one defenseman good enough to be top pair on most (but not all) other teams. Morgan Rielly. Your 2nd best defenseman right now is probably still Gio even though your coach isn't smart enough to use him properly.
Yes they're the 3rd and 4th best defenseman for the Flames but in Toronto they'd be at least number 2 (Hanifin) and number 3 (Tanev). That's if Hanifin doesn't become number 1 over Rielly.

So the Flames great Dmen and 6m goalie prorated allows 13 goals less per season, even at that the Leafs have had injuries to their probably their top goalie,Woll Liljegren, Brodie and Giordano.
