And I like the youngster infusion, but ultimately you're in the main trading PIT's lesser goods and acquiring alot of youngsters who'll never see the ice really because you've kept 4 of your top 7 old forwards and gotten disappointment bertuzzi (and pulijarvi). What can Turcotte, Timmins, Bourque, Voit, Bourgault, Poulin, Pustinen do buried in that lineup of unmoveable objects in front of them?

It seems a half measure. (I'd move eller, letang, and not acquire bertuzzi, and have crosby, malkin, karlsson educate/develop the kids for the inevitable)

Guentzel is injured he's probably not being traded.
No one is giving you that for Jarry.
Smith returns more than a 3rd and the league probably blocks that trade.
No one is taking on Campbell, no one.
EDM can keep that 3x5 cap dump.

Unless Pettersson can play the right side then this makes no sense for the Stars. They are loaded on their left side already. They NEED a RHD, not another LHD.
