If CGY's pick is top 3 I'm pretty sure Flames keep it and MTL gets Flordias

I'm not a Slaf hater by any means, just an anti-homer.

Here's an interesting set of statistics to consider:

Slafkovsky has 37 points in his first 92 games.

If he doubles his current point total in the next 7 games, he will have the same 74 points in his first 99 games that Trevor Zegras recorded.

If the Sabers did trade any big players it would be out west.

Yikes. That's a pretty painless package for a 6'7" center coming off a 47 goal season, locked up for years. I'd expect that there would be significantly better offers.

Reinbacher and two firsts

One of those firsts would have to be montreals 24 first.

Your 2024 1st and Reinbacher would need to be included, you can keep Barron and Tuch. Just sign Tuch in FA if we want him.

Yet he will have a better career than Z, same with Kakko...

Ya gotta admire someone who can see into the future, especially someone who has absolutely no factual basis right now to predict that outcome . . .

Lay off the pipe. By pipe I mean crack. Cuz that's what ur smoking. Take out Barron and add Reinbacher or Hutson, then Buffalo might not hang up.

That total sounds around where Jack Hughes was.

Jack later said he probably should have done a year at Michigan as he arrived in NHL 150 lbs soaking wet.

Not saying Slafkovsky will be putting up Hughes numbers (or even Zegras numbers) but hard to use these age-18 seasons to predict future.
