We wouldn't pick Jeff Carter up off waivers.

We have 15 NHL forwards on the roster now, with kids in Ontario chomping at the bit.

Dallas declines. Guentzel is nice, but the Stars have absolutely no need for him currently. They lead the league in GF/game. If anything, they need defense. Absolutely no reason to gut the farm system for a guy they don't need

that NSH trade is so bad, it's not even worth commenting on the rest of it.
Why would the penguins trade their young good defensive prospect for another goalie when they got like 3 good young goalies in the system already.
