Maybe. But even before that incident he was trending down from his rookie season. It’s not the first time an elite euro goalie enters the league on fire, gets signed then gradually gets figured out by the League and numbers dwindle. Happened to Koskinen too. But let’s assuming Elvis issues are all related to the incident, even still you’d have to make a really big gamble to take him at his cap hit. And Jarmo was trying to sell him off like he wasn’t a gamble and was a bonafide number 1, has no biters.

Idk, I just look at him and I see a guy with one season where he wasn't at least a league average goalie. Putting aside last year's outlier season, he's got one elite season, one really good season, one league average season and he's currently having another league average season. Idk maybe you see it differently, but a lot of teams could do worse than an average goalie.
