quick ?: which orifice is Edmonton pulling the cap space they don't have out of, in order to make this trade work?

They should copy Tampa, put Draisaitl on LTIR, and load up.

I guess that telling certain factions of the Toronto fanbase that Columbus isn't trading Boone Jenner is like telling certain factions of the Montreal fanbase that Anaheim isn't trading Trevor Zegras for the Winnipeg and Calgary firsts and some window dressing -- you know, as productive as hitting yourself in the gonads with a croquet mallet.

typically a guy needs to be injured to go on LTIR (it's what that "I" stands for, after all) so not sure how you're gonna sneak through a guy on who just played 19+ minutes against the Coyotes this afternoon
