You'd really give Knies and a bunch of other assets to get McBain and Crouse?? Seems like a terrible idea for TOR

Would be exactly what Toronto needs. Put some heart and grit in the lineup and Crouse has another 3 years after this one at a very good AAV and McBain has another year at1.5M would be a nice fit

TOR aren't prime contenders this year. IMO they will need to do a short retool and build on Matthews, Nylander and/or Marner. Knies is a future top 6, 65+ pt player. You need to keep those kind of guys on the team

What's all this love for McBain over either Knies or Robertson?
Crouse would be nice but the cap doesn't really work, cause no way is Arizona on M NTC Kampf's trade list.

But they have term so it’s not a rental situation. IMO we are amping up the roster for the NOW. Knies May end up being better than Crouse but while we have Matthews in his prime let’s surround him developed guys ready to win now. 4 year window to win a cup before I think Matthews leaves.

They still think Dubas manages the Leafs, it's embarrassing. Grit is something a lot of fans aren't familiar with here in Toronto, it will take some adjusting

Knies plays with tons of heart and grit. Big body on the forecheck, skates hard, has good hands and a great shot. He's been a perfect compliment on matthews line this year and hes a rookie. Toronto is not trading him for 30 year old -20 dman matt dumba

Playoffs is just a while different ball game. After every whistle is an altercation. Every check gets finished(except Nylanders) and less penalties. Takes a lot of heart and grit to win 4 playoff rounds
