Swayman is the only goalie in the league I’d give up 1 really good piece for. No other goalie is worth that much

It's not a troll. Swayman is an unreal goalie and would require a massive payment to get him out of Boston. While it may be an overpay, I think it makes Ottawa a contender immediatley

That's really good value for NYI. I think they'd have to say yes to this.

yeah the real poison pill is the Isles would be taking back almost double the cap (sending about just about $7M with Pulock & Wahlstrom, taking back $12.975M with Chabot/Batherson.) I don't think they could even pull this off as a summer trade without having to dump cap elsewhere.

We essentially have to move Nelson (good value), Palmieri (no value), and Pelech (probably unmoveable but that's fine). I think Lee could get bought out this off-season, which would save a nice amount.

Also, the amount of "Chabot Shalom" gear Isles fans would have would be amazing.
