That'll work for Hanifin. Dunno if Calgary will want to give Greer back to Boston though he's been a good fit. On the other hand Greer is UFA this summer so they might do that too.

Is Greer going to be back this season? I thought he had a foot issue.

he will be back about a wk after the deadline.he is a good 4th liner,played well until the injury.

I thought he was just out short term but apparently he's expected to miss another 4-5 weeks.

except it's not remotely comparable to the hampus trade in any way shape or form.
starting with: hanifin isn't comparable to lindholm. lindholm is head and shoulders better.
move onto lohrei being more valuable than anything boston sent to anaheim for lindholm by a wide margin
then factor in there isn't any multi year cap dump in this one.
