I don’t think we should spend our 1st on a D-Man like Ferraro as I think there are other worthy players such as: Tanev, Hanifin, etc. I also think letting Brodie go is a mistake and I understand he’s having a down-year but he is an integral part of our defense and I find his defense to be much better than Ferraro’s. If Brodie could turn it around this half of the season it’d help us out big time. I also don’t think ARZ accepts that deal as they probably are prioritizing quality over quantity in terms of picks.

whats with all the AZ giving 2nds for crap picks from TML - there is zero chance them doing that, GM has said they have more picks than can draft - they are almost to reserve 90man limit

Lol Brodie gets the same as Tanev
I'm sure Dallas gives more for Tanev and we don't need Toronto in this deal

calgary wants a 2nd but is trying to use Friedman as leverage to get a 1st/goat toronto into giving them a 1st. no ones offered a 2nd yet lol

Tre has been looking to add D since he got here

Other teams are asking for a 1st which he doesn't want to give up

Seems like he's been willing to give up the 1st if he can get a package of 2 players

No takers

So...all the "insider" reports linking the leafs to all these players is most likely Tre just burning up the phone lines trying to see how far he can stretch a dollar.

I also doubt he moves Brodie...just based on his NMC, dad dying before the season started...sick wife... I get it's a cap value that allows bigger moves but I just don't think he asks him to waive his NMC.
