Description

I know Minn. just signed Hartman to a 3-year extension at $4M per. But can't imagine he's untouchable if you have a combo of top prospects/picks to send. I haven't seen him play much but I figure if he could center Kaprizov some, he can keep up with the Avs. Could be any combo of the 2024 1st, Behrens, Olausson or Foudy. I think the only untouchables are Ritchie and Gulyayev. Hartman can keep 2C warm for Ritchie then move to wing. With these trades, no need to trade RyJo or one of the D until the offseason.

Eh, I think pens can easily get a 2nd for Ned given the amount of teams that need another goalie right now.

Add on retaining + MacDermind and Prosvetov just aren't anything that move the needle.

Even if you made an overwhelming offer to Guerin, Hartman has a full NMC and would be unlikely to waive it.

I think Guerin and not Hartmans NMC would be the obstacle. He gets to compete for the cup the next many seasons.

I considered Hartman, but then remembered: I don't like him, he's older, & he's basically Ross Colton. He'd block Ritchie. MIN can keep on being mid with him in their core group...
