I’d love Cernak on the Avs they would have to move Girard and Manson but to roll a top 4 of Makar Toew and Byram Cernak that’s like having 2 top pairings with a stopper and offense generator on it.

Hawks decline. They aren't taking Sheary for less than a 2nd or a 3rd. And that's an awful return in the Cernak trade. No way Tampa does that.

Hawks have enough bottom 6 players. The incentive to help tampa is not there with 2 6ths. Depending on what else the Hawks do in offseason I could see they taking Sheary for a 3rd.
