I don't think that Detroit would want to give up so much to Calgary for those 2 players. Maybe for hanifin, maatta + Isaac and a 1st and or 2nd

Would you package Edvinsson with a rock for that kind of return? No, of course you wouldn't. Obviously Columbus will not be doing that with Jiricek.

All 3 teams not named Detroit pass. Columbus and Nashville definitely pass. And i seriously doubt that Jacob Markstrom would ever waive for a rebuilding Red Wings team.

The equivalent trade for the Jackets would be more like Elvis and Provorov, not Elvis and Jiricek.
