He's better offensively, for sure. I don't know if he's a great fit with Rod, though. Smith, at his best, is a better two-way player.

I'd be open to moving Smith for future considerations. Considering I wanted Dubas to target Bunting as a UFA, I'd be happy if he did this.

Bunting's been fine both ways this year. His scoring more than makes up for the defensive woes. I'd much rather have Bunting than Smith

I think Bunting has been the missing key that we've needed on the PP for a while and I think that compared with the 5V5 offense makes him super valuable to the team

I'd wouldn't mind adding Smith, but not at the expense of Bunting. Just seems like a lateral move at best for the Canes.
