Not bad, think you've gone a bit cheap on the Seeler, Walker, Atkinson returns for PHI though.

Allison is pretty much done, and with hathaway and deslauriers, hes redundant.

Hanifan and Lindholm would be two good UFA aims.

I think you've got too many shooters on top line, but like that 3rd line and 4th line works but I think a young speedy/offensive player takes deslauriers spot, moving him to 13th (Tuomaala is 3rd in rookie scoring in AHL, desnoyers throws the body alot, maybe one of them).

Dont like the defense though, too top heavy and 2nd pairing is too young. I'd go:

    Sanheim-Drysdale
    Hanifan-York
    Andrae or another young guy-Ristolinen
    Zamula as 7th

    St Louis and Tampa pass.

And no Noah Hanifin and Elias Lindholm aren't signing on a rebuilding team.

That's a reasonable price for Laughton but he doesn't exactly address the needs of the Avs; he's not a 2C so he'd be either playing over his head or be a very overpriced bottom sixer. For those reasons, Avs decline.

If you read the title, it signifies the end of the rebuild. Additionally, if the Flyers make the playoffs while they are technically still rebuilding, I feel like that's a good sign for UFA's to see that their exiting that stage of this new regime. Pretty common sensical here.

Bottom sixer's that can move up and down the lineup though could be very valuable, especially for a team that depends on it's veterans. Laughton is a the type of player you want in a long playoff series, brings some edge, plays solid defense, plays on the PK, and can be put on a 2nd line in a pinch if necessary. He's even seen some PP success in Philly over the last couple weeks. For an older prospect and a mid round pick, especially with this team friendly contract, I think it's a steal for COL.

I wouldn't be so sure about this. Tampa's defense took a massive hit with Serg going down, and Walker is not only having an unreal season, he's a righty and can slot into the top 4 seamlessly. Combine that with his low contract, and this is exactly the type of move TB is well known for making over the last few years. Seeler adds some veteran depth and for a third, can be viewed as a steal for what he does in the defense, hits, and blocked shots department. Again, all the while having a league minimum contract almost. Where's the downside from trading a pick thats 3 drafts away?

They have the least amount of goals scored for any team in current playoff position. Cheap offense should be the name of the game here. Not saying it's their only move, but for a mid round pick two years from now, it's a no brainer to me.

I wouldn';t mind switching Drysdale and Sanheim, but I think Torts prefers York on his natural side and Sanny on the right. i think Sanny has also said he feels more comfortable on the right side. Hanifan also gives Drysdale a proven top pairing d man to learn from and develop correctly.

The offense has many possibilities as well, I'm very open to your ideas for them. Allison is just a depth signing, injuries happen and I still think he has something to his game that is valuable.

If Tampa doesn't trade for/plan on signing Hanifin themselves, they should strongly consider this trade. Getting both Seeler and Walker helps them significantly for this year, and they will likely be able to re-sign at least Walker, maybe both. Before all of the Hanifin to Tampa noise began, these two were the dmen I was hoping Tampa would look to acquire anyway, so I'd hope.Brisebois would consider.

Thing is, he wouldn't get much PP time in Colorado so that isn't much of a selling point. The Avs had a guy like him in JT Compher who was playing over his head; while he's a good player, I can't see him moving the needle for the Avs and they need to watch how they spend their money. He's just not enough of a "sure thing" to address their needs to make a move on him.
