      I thought a player could only have their salary retained twice? Or am I confusing reality with NHL23

      He is a waiver wire pick up from earlier in the season. Megna played last season with San Jose and Seattle, basically an organizational depth piece.

      Doubt the Hawks are retaining on anybody for less than a 4th.

      If they are using a retention slot gotta be a lot more. Better use for that slot than on Megna.
