Leafs pass, Bert has been playing much better lately especially with Nylander and Domi. I honestly have liked his play all season (despite the low points) but he's been very unlucky

I like it. Fans who fell in love with Bert last year will love this. Unfortunately I’m not a fan of giving up DeBrusk, but if he’s our only option… maybe?

Pass. Debrusk > Bert. And downgrading rentals makes no sense.

I literally hate the concept of this deal. Two streaky players, but give me DeBrusk’s defense any day of the weak.

DeBrusk is in the 90th percentile in terms of EV defense. Bertuzzi is in the 20th percentile.

Definitely this. DeBrusk is streaky in his offensive production - but his overall play is pretty good even when he's not playing well.
