I think Adams has done a solid job as gm.

Multiple players not playing up to their level/potential isnt on him, is on Don

That's not getting you Andersson, that's about what I'm expecting for Hanifan, maybe a little less because the pick will be decent. No way they'd have to send a 2nd back either.

I like this for Calgary
Krebs hasn't planned out but give the local kid a shot at home
2nd round pick will be an early one, would prefer to give a 3rd back

I don’t think Calgary moves Anderson. They are already going to lose Tanev and Hanifin.

I wouldn't give up Kulich, and why are they sending back a 2nd. There's a plethora of other assets that could be added other than Kulich. Hell if there moving Andersson then there going full rebuild. Sabres with there prospect pool could give Calgary a huge head start in that rebuild.

Well than you’re going to be very disappointed with the Hanifin return…

I imagine he'll get a 1st and good prospect, which is about all this deal is. 1st probably won't be as good as Buffalo's is going to be though.

A pending UFA LHD mid pairing maybe gets a late first and a C prospect. I think either you don’t know who Kulich is, or severely underrate him.

That's a top 10 pick and an A prospect. I don't want hanifin, it's a moot point to me, but let's say the Bruins are the team that wants hanifin. That first becomes a pick in the 20s, and whoever the Bruins best prospect is (poitras maybe). The Sabres offer here is significantly more than that, without adding whatever value Krebs may have.

Did kulich lead the wjc in scoring? I know he was close if he didnt.

Good idea in theory
But CGY is already trading Hanifin & Tanev
Don’t think they’re gonna trade Andersson too

Krebs value was probably higher before the season, but yeah he's still worth something. Like I said, a 1st and a good prospect, if we go to Boston that's lohrei, lysell or poitras, they're all A prospects too. I know the pick will be less valuable but it's still a late first, and you guys got Kulich with one so who knows. We're not talking about a Hanifan trade here though, 2 more years of Andersson on a very team friendly contract is worth more.

You don't know much about Hanifan then either. He plays top pairing minutes on the Flames, and would on a lot of the contenders that are rumored to be in on him. I already acknowledged the 1st we get won't be near as good as Buffalo's, but every trade rumor I see includes an A prospect like Kulich.

I know plenty about Hanifin, and he is a mid pairing on most contending teams. Possibly a number 2 on a lower contender. Add in he’s more offense than defense, and that stunts his return, as opposed to Andersson, whose all around game is far above. And again, being a UFA wanting a large contract, I think you’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting is a first (late or early) an A+ prospect, and a roster player.

Adam's has drafted well, bringing Jost, greginsons [spell] Klye O is shameful.

Hanifa is the better defensive player of the 2. He plays the majority of his minutes against other teams top players, spends more time on the PK and even with the tougher match ups he still has a better +/- then Andersson.

You're expecting a top 10 pick & a top 20 prospect in the league for Hanifin???

Oh boy you're gonna be disappointed
