I don’t hate either of these moves for the Hawks. They are definitely worth consideration as the TDL approaches.

Both Fabbri and Husso could be real good flip candidates at the 2025 TDL if the Hawks continue to struggle and Fabbri has decent skill and is really suitable for a middle six role if he can ever stay healthy.

If Detroit moves a goalie it will most likely be Reimer, but since he's in the final season of his contract that probably won't happen.

That isn't enough for almost $9M in cap relief, and there is no other reason for CHI to be interested in Fabbri or Husso outside of a cap dump. So, CHI declines, in my humble opinion.
