Kings pass. Unless there is an extension in place before the trade, if not then the Kings go down the same route they did this year. Cheap goaltenders to carry the work.

Canucks pass. Come on people Monahan just went for a first. You think it's going to take only 1 extra first round and a B level prospect will net you Pettersson.

You'd need to offer multiple prospects like Molendyk, Wood, Kemell plus multiple firsts to get him.

I think that your suspicion is correct -- the Kings aren't going to pay a substantial cost for one year of Juuse Saros.
