Buch and Kyrou and worth more on their own than an old forward (which STL needs less of) and a draft bust. Nelson is a good player but doesn’t fit into STL’s plans. I’d take a chance on Oliver but he’s worth maybe a 3rd at best.
How in the world does this help the blues. Kyrou>Nelson. Adding buch on top of that is horrible. Wahlstrom has declined in the NHL so he's a change of scenery candidate.

Nelson is better and more valuable than kyrou . Plus he’s a center
Minnesota says no. We don't have the cap space or the need. We are in cap hell and have prospects that need the ice time. Much rather save a bunch of cap space and give that spot to a guy like Yurov who is 20 than soon to be 34 year old Anders Lee.
