I just saw the termination article from the KHL. This could be huge for the Wild
He should be super helpful. Last year he showed he can play at a pretty elite level. Had a slight down year, but was also playing with a little less talent around him (other than Michkov). Should slot right in on our second or 3rd line. Likely 3rd.
Exciting stuff! Khusnutdinov is an excellent young player who I feel doesn't get the respect he should. He's been great in the KHL and should make an immediate impact on the Wild. He and Yurov were so productive in the KHL this season.

Do you feel the same way about Grebenkin on the Leafs?
Kusnutdinov = 6G + 14A = 20P in 49 games Grebenkins = 19G + 22A = 41P in 67 games
Both in the KHL.
Grebenkin is a year younger and a few inches taller.

100% I do, Grebyonkin is (in my opinion) the Leafs current best prospect. Feels like nobody outside of the devoted Leafs prospect watchers are talking about him, all eyes are on Cowan and Minten at the moment.
I think Greb could join the Leafs and do very well on the 3rd line to start. He's a guy I'm so excited about
Once again: Who votes "No" when a prospect signs his ELC? It can't be because there's some concern about his leaving Russia, because his KHL contract is now terminated.
At long last, he's here! I'm super excited to see how Marat does. Hopefully he and Mason Shaw will prevent us from having to play guys like Lucchini every day.
