Doesn't get Guentzel. Doesn't get Mittlestadt. Doesn't get Walker.

None of these teams accept these trades.

Did you say the same thing about "doesn't get Tanev"? Philly isnt' getting a 2nd for Walker.

I never said that Tanev was worth more than a 2nd and a prospect/young roster player. Flyers want a 1st & a 2nd for the combination of Walker & Seeler. If you think they are settling for a 3rd and a bottom-6 forward for Walker, well...I wouldn't hold your breath.

DAL likely doesn’t rock the boat much more. Tanev was the piece they were wanting, so they’re likely done now

The teams here are selling low. Flyers will want more, Sabres and Pens will definitely want quite a bit more.

What happened with the Stars trading Tanev to the Devils after acquiring him from the Flames?

I think you all are overestimating the amount of teams that will be willing to cough up a 1st for a rental. The trade deadline market is never as robust as everyone thinks it will be. Middelstedt I'll give you is probably a bit low given his RFA status. I imagine the Guentzel market for a year will not be what the public thinks it should be.

Word is Seguin is going on LTIR. If that happens they need a center stat and why not use that cap space to add a major piece?

For sure, I wasn’t aware of that, so of course injury replacements make sense

Easy pass.

You've got to include one of Dellandrea/Bourque/Stankoven for jake.

A struggling defenseman, an unproven forward prospect, and a late 1st aren't going to get Guentzel. He won't got for like 2 firsts and the best prospect the team has, but they need more value than hoping another change of scenery with help Nils Lundkvist and an unproven possibly sold prospect.

GM's sort of lose their mind at the TDL.
Last year 12 first round draft picks were traded, two have already moved and we still have a week to go.
Unlike my other Sabre ACGM's that trade is closer than they are indicating.
Forget about the Guenztel trade, that is not enough.
So offer the Sabres:
Lundkvist, Nils
Hakanpää, Jani
2024 1st round pick (DAL)
for
Mittelstadt, Casey
