Even if the argument is "they're moving him for cap", they'd be better off just moving him to the team they're trying to make their bigger trade with so that that team can proceed to flip him for the value he's actually worth (~2nd in deadline terms).

Realistic or not but me like

They got a D prospect now playing top four minutes and a third for Bugstad last year. This is a good price for a rental, but Bjugstad has no other year on his deal. He likes Bear. The team likes him. I don't see a second as enough incentive for them to move him. It's not terrible value; it just doesn't move the needle. They still need players.

I like Foegele. I'd do that. Would pass on the Bjugstad deal. Just get Roslovic for cheap.
