PIT wants a forward prospect around Wallinder’s level. There is no sense in the biggest piece of the trade going to PIT being a RD that will be playing behind Karlsson and Letang for the remainder of Sid’s career. A forward prospect at that level would be able to contribute in a prominent role while Sid is still playing.

If Canucks trade Hronek and Willander the entire FO should be fired

    Sabres pass imo
    We likely won’t trade Greenway
And we need a “shut down” type RD

    pens pass.

They want nothing to do with an over paid bottom six winger with term in Mikheyev

Why would Vancouver trade Hronek. They could at least get a first too

So we're back to having a terrible defence with no prospects?

Habs will want more for Savard with retention. That’s maybe the lowest value they would accept for Savard without retention.

    Canucks are not trading Hronek.
David Savard won't be a good fit for the Canucks.
Dubas prefers prospects more than picks and a player, and Canucks should trade Raty and maybe Podz to Pittsburgh for Guentzel.

    Replace Wallander with Lekkerimaki.

The Pens could hope for a bounceback from Mikheyev or trade him in the offseason for a 4th. For Raty, a 1st, and Lekkerimaki, they can take an overpaid Mikheyev

There would be no reason for them to have to overpay for us to take Mikheyev only for the penguins to move him.

    They can move him.

    Absolute pass.
