Kane ain’t being traded and I think oilers would rather give up picks because Broberg was a former 8th overall pick and Bourgault was 22nd and Oilers pick could be 25-28 range

Chicago isn't looking for a long term LD. They have plenty of young guys. It's literally the deepest position Chicago has at the moment.

It is being reported the pens wants prospects not picks. Jake is a lot better than evader Kane so Jake is still upgrade in top six plus you get a goalie. Myself kinda agrees with Jake and bake but not fully. I think it is just a little bit under valued for the pens. Not the pens getting screwed.

Thanks jk74 I really just looking for a team to take him for a pick. Chicago can retain maybe 33% and trade him somewhere else for maybe 2nd and 3rd and make out with 2nd and 3rd 3rd for retaining about 1.2m

I think Edmonton can't take that deal fast enough
Losing what Kane adds sucks, but Guentzel is almost too good not to pass up.

Graves has 5 years left on his deal. Teams don't retain on players for that long.

Add in Pickard (to balance out the goalies) and add in Holloway. The Pens would likely do that with the idea of either flipping Kane or hoping Crosby can keep him in line.
