There's no incentive for Winnipeg to pay a 1st to take back a far worse contract. If the Jets are paying that much it needs to be a player that fills a need, not an offense only player that was traded to Montreal as a cap dump.

lol. you havent changed i see. remember when you traded a first for a player that was traded as a cap dump to Montréal less than a month ago. not everyone learns from their mistakes it seems.

Jeremy Rutherford was on 101 ESPN last week and said there’s a 60% Kyrou is moved before his NTC kicks in July 2025 and he’d be shocked if Rouzy finishes his contract here. Obviously that’s just his opinion but the majority of the fan base is tired of his lackluster play too while being paid the most. If the Blues can get Reinbacher plus 2 firsts I’d take that deal any day. Snuggerud and Dvorsky will replace Kyrou next season anyway.

tears of joy

JR is a petty, unprofessional hack who A) does not know inside scoop info... ever & 2) was only taking a slanted guess at the situation. That was NOT a report or any sort of news. It was only his loser wishful thinking "opinion" (and not even really that, because he always has to tell lies to stir up **** without players in an attempt to make his name, because, ya know, he's a petty, unprofessional hack). And your claim about the "majority of the fan base" is A) pulled straight out of your rear & B) thankfully irrelevant to the core anyway.

But seriously, anybody who takes factual guidance from JR is probably going to be lost in the Night Country by dinner time. He's an idiot.

As always - you know more than everyone. Kyrou’s name has been floated in trades by the Blues before. Latest being Gauthier but they couldn’t make $ work with Philly.

You can believe whatever you want. I’m fairly certain Blues would do this.

Also not sure where you get the idea that Thomas and Kyrou are “best buddies”.

Hahahaha WHAT????

Dude. The only person taking part and grasping on tight to (manufactured) belief in this conversation ain't me.

But again, I'm not going to re-litigate this, it's beyond stupid. If you have any source for your claims, I'm all ears. The rest of this bizarre Kyrou caterwauling you guys can keep.

He was a cap dump when traded to Montreal. Pittsburgh insisted that Montreal take him.

The Jets are finished with Schmidt's contract next year, they'd be stuck with Matheson 's bloated deal for another 2 and the Jets have actual good players coming up that need raises.

Matheson is too expensive to play another 2 seasons behind Morrissey when the Jets need a good defensive RH defenseman.

Why waste assets on another LHD when the Jets need an RHD?

He's an average 2nd pairing D and has never been considered top pairing by anyone.

If these players we're as good as Montreal fans tell us they are, Montreal wouldn't consistently be one of the worst teams in the league.

6 strikes you're out twice.

None of those are counterpoints to anything I said or reinforce any of your original points.
It's okay to just say you don't like a player or they don't fit with a team. You don't have to disparage a player to make those arguments.

I say yes - also think Doug Armstrong and blues management/ownership says yes.

Id have to agree here ONLY IF Kyrou no longer wants to be a blue. which I dont see as being the case

i wouldnt say JR is an "unprofessional hack" that "stirs **** up... seeing as how hes a long time credentialed media guy for the blues...

Kyrou is in a weird spot in STL right now. Half of the fans love him and the other half hate him. He shows flashes of elite play and brilliance and he is also lazy on the backcheck and can be a pylon at times. Yeah hes had some attitude issues but hes still a young player. Army probably hangs on to him unless we get a true #1 LHD out of the deal because thats what we need more than anything else right now.

you are the same dude who said Monahan wasnt good enough for the Jets and he is easily in your top 6 .... and lately hes the jets best player.

I dont think that account has ever been right about anything on here. Always suggests that anything that isnt a complete fleecing by the Jets as "No value for the Jets"

I think the Canes probably do this. They do love buying low on players that have shown flashes before. Maybe they can revitalize his career, and if they can't well it's just a 7th round pick

You’re insane if you think a majority of a blues fans like how Kyrou has played so far. The kid needs to step it up soon or he’s getting shipped out. That’s why I said it was JR’s OPINION he’d be moved by 2025 not an official report. Look up Kyrou during and after the game tonight, he’ll be trending on twitter amongst angry Blues fans.

1 - Source?

2 - Heh. Okay, Army.

3 - Except in no way did you say that it was JR's opinion. None whatsoever. You said "Jeremy Rutherford was on 101 ESPN last week and said there’s a 60% Kyrou is moved before his NTC kicks in... " as if that was some sort of proof to noted's claim that the Blues don't think so highly of Kyrou. It ain't. It's a sad little man picking fights with players on the team he covers. Again. As usual.
