I mean 2 1sts is nice. But we have tons of high end prospects already.

The gm said he's not looking to trade him.

He's 2 years from UFA.

Makes no sense

Not sure what the appeal here is for Vegas other than acquiring two of the players' younger brothers. Pass, Dorofeyev will be around for awhile or traded for a good player

Sabres obviously aren't doing that. Picks have 0 value

Sabres are NOT trading Mitts

U wanna throw a name like Schneider out there…..
that MIGHT get us to listen

But 1sts at the bottom of the round, & Left shot defensemen just aren’t gonna pique our interest at all

Canucks have no reason to move Zadorov, especially for less than we acquired him for

Canucks decline. They have no reason to trade Zadorov for less than they gave up for him. They had been targeting him for a long time and like his style of play, it would take significantly more than they gave up to pry him away, not less.

Late firsts, left shot d, and undersized forwards. Things we don't need more of.

Exactly
Can’t wait till the trade deadline is over so we can stop seeing this nonsense

And wtf are there all these posts about Tuch now for?
He’s a guy I’d be SHOCKED to see us trade
Pretty sure he’ll be our Captain next year

Well, he's a guy playoff teams should want. Why he would be available, come on, ridiculous.

Tuch posts are coming from reports that the NYR and Bruins checked in on him but were told not available (everyone forgetting this 2nd part).

Schneider is a core piece and would not be included in a rental scenario, which Mitts would be.

One player who could fit the NYR timeline and the Sabs might make available is Krebs. What is the going rate?

Why would Mitts be a rental for u guys?
No room to sign him going forward- he’s an RFA, not UFA

I don’t think trading Krebs makes sense for Buffalo
No reason for us to “sell low” and no one is likely to give us good value for him

Yes, the NYR likely wouldn't be able to fit him in the cap next year, there is always the trade him before next season scenario but the leverage would be low. For Someone like Tuch, Drury would make room.

What do you see as good value for Krebs, don't name specific players if you don't want to?

Personally, if i was the Sabres GM & considering trading Krebs,
I’d ONLY move him for a piece that improves us- even if i had to add to Krebs

Not that u guys would do this….
but something like Krebs + for Schneider

Like i said, no point for us to “sell low” on him
So i really don’t think a Krebs trade would make sense for the Sabres, OR for anyone who’s wanna acquire him

Schneider would only go for another younger player on the rise, in Sabres terms that would be more like Cozens. I see your point as far as Krebs, it seems like there might be a logjam coming up but there are always ways around it so no reason.

There definitely is a log jam coming up
But at this point, one of our prospects coming up probably has more trade value than Krebs, so (imo) we’d be more likely to actually trade one (or more) pieces like that to try & get the top4 RD we need
