MTL decline as well
Management are super high on David Reinbacher and he is the perfect partner for either Lane Hutson or Kaiden Guhle

Way too many fans just dying to see see another sergechev trade happen? habs have a lot of dman coming but Reinbacher is by far are best chance at a top pairing RD theres really no need to move him unless the package is for a top tier offensive talent.

I would do this Deal, hurt loosing Quinn, but the Sabres have enough pieces to fill that.

Exactly, same with Montreal and the over abondance of #1-2 RD this year. Montreal is also a little bit behind on their rebuild than Buff. It hurts to trade RB because he will be good, but Quinn, Benson, Krebs, Kulich and Savoie are all there to fill your top 6

Plus the Sabres get to keep there 1st and they could always add Harris as a sweetener on another deal.

I love Rosen, but Harris is getting his strides recently, good player to flip, but also good bottom pairing RD/LD with a lot of Constance in his play

Not giving up Quinn for someone years away, maybe for someone who was elite now

Oh I don't mind Harris, he's young and learning. Just Buffalo has a overabundance of 3rd pair D. Would be interesting to see if Harris would change the thinking on a few of them.

I would not do this deal.

We have power and dahlin. We only need complimentary pieces to them. Quinn will be a 2 way top 6 beast for years. Far more important.

You can't paired up Justin Barron, Logan Mailloux, Artyom Levshunov or Zayne Parekh with Lane Hutson
MTL need Reinbacher way more than a top 6 winger

MTL Core : Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, Kirby Dach, Kaiden Guhle, David Reinbacher and Lane Hutson
You build around those guys, we brought in Alex Newhook, Arber Xhekaj is probably in the plans, Owen Beck, Joshua Roy, etc

Well the Sabres can play without Quinn, and he wasn't the Best skater before these 2 big injuries. And Reinbacher could be here next year if the Sabres wanted to push it.

Everyone has there opinions, and I really like Quinn. But we need more than Dahlin and Power. Dahlin shouldn't be playing 30min a game.

12p in 17 games after an Achilles injury, and he sparked the team in January. rn I wouldn't give him up unless it helps immediately. Reinbacher is way too far out. Any of the winger prospects, sure

Yep and came back and screwed his Ankle up. Not taking anything away from him. Good player that wasn't a great skater and has had multiple leg injuries. And Reinbacher is not Years away, maybe 2.

As a hockey trade, I would do this, trading a position of strength to fill a position of weakness. I agree that guys like reinbacher, jiricek, and willander (all very good two way right d prospects, that have been brought up at some point)- are more than is strictly needed, but if the price is right, it's probably too good to pass up. Strictly speaking, I'd still rather get a shutdown hammer type- cernak, Carlo, zub, schneider- as I see that as a better fit, but if you can get that elite two way game for the right price, probably gotta take it.

Hey Buddy, you hear anything on Okposo and the Rangers. Some guy named Privileged Pete who I guess has called stuff on the Rangers is saying there's a deal to be made, If Okposo agrees.

I asked my friend that occasionally gets stuff. Didn't hear anything. Friedman mentioned okposo to Rangers as a possible fit, but it sounded more like his own speculation. It's not a reach, he's on a 16 goal pace, and he's not exactly expensive now. DiBiase said he thought okposo might get a second, which I think is ridiculous, but if somebody wants to pay it, by all means.

I don't get insider stuff very often, the last time was probably the Quinn draft. He told me the night before that the Sabres were really high on Jack Quinn, I had to look up to see who he was, he was going in the late teens in most mock drafts I saw. Then, day of draft, the board fell absolutely perfect for us to get rossi or perfetti, and we took...Jack Quinn. Jury is still out, but it looks like a decent pick now.
