Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Somewhat realistic outlook for next season. Just tried to make the team more competitive. We will still be bad but hoping we stay healthy and are more fun to watch. Of course this is also if we win the lottery and get Celebrini. Based Vlasic's deal around Samuelsson on Buffalo

They'll never sign AD and they shouldn't either. They need a more physical defensive Dman.

I really doubt Davidson brings in Deangelo just given his personal history. But I am interested in another Canes defenseman if he hits the market, Chatfield. Not interested in signing Carter, even for league min. The dude is absolutely washed.

Totally agree with your description, but not your UFA signings. Hawks won't go anywhere near DeAngelo or Carter. And they need a player much better than Beau. Think Eberle, Tarasenko, Marchessault - any of them at like 2x$7m should do it. Maybe a guy like Stecher for 3rd pair RD.

Yeah I agree with you, but I heard eberle wants to resign in seattle and the other two will most likely sign for contenders. I put Carter down as he matches the veteran presence that Davidson has brought in, in the past and DeAngelo I agree with I just clicked the first cheap RD I saw tbh.

Beauvillier is already making 4M and if they bring him back for a year or two they'll give him the same to hit the cap floor.

Carter is more for the veteran presence that goes with foligno, it is just for a year or two for the young guys the learn from someone who has won cups. DeAngelo I argee with I just clicked the first cheap RD I saw tbh.

He is not worth 4M. And has not performed with Hawks. Time to move on.

Carter is toast. He'll likely retire (at least he should). I'd rather play the current 4th line bums like Entwistle or Katchouk than Carter. As for the forwards, you never know what motivates them. A big payday to play w/ Bedard might be more attractive than a bargain deal to chase a Cup. Tarasenko did just that this year to play for the Sens. Only takes one yes.
