Make the 1st go from BOS to PIT, and make the 2nd come from VAN, and then I think it's realistic.

I think if a deal is in place and they turn Lindholm into Guentzel they can justify it. If Lindholm isn't a fit, it is what it is.

Lysell is no better than any handful of prospects the penguins can get form other teams.
No need for PIT to do business with VAN if they aren't getting what they want. They can clear better offers elsewhere

VAN fans need to understand JR builds your team and he wants Jake and will pay what it takes to get him.

Curious to see what prospects Pittsburgh is targeting. Boston has Lysell who is the obvious target. 21 years old putting up very good stats at the AHL level. Was viewed as a sure fire top 10 pick. Fell because of his constant hero puck play. Finally got it and is playing at a high level.

They have some guys in the 4 through 10 range that are pretty underrated as prospects depending on what Pittsburgh needs. They lack high ceiling guys other than Lysell and Lohrei (since Poitras was considered graduated), but they have a couple of guys putting up very good stats that project as interesting flyers.

I’d expect some interest in Georgii Merkulov (Providence), Oskar Jelvik (Boston College), John Faranacci (Providence), Brett Harrison (Providence), and Reid Dyck (Swift Current).

Dubas should have seen a lot of Reid because of Owen Pickering. Curious to see what the mix of prospects, picks, and players will be. Hope we see it tomorrow

VAN fans need to realize that JR understands that you have to give to get and get over it.
You're not getting Jake for some dud prospect. Everyone who knows anything about hockey knows this.
If you want a good reference look at the Kessel trade that JR did.
PIT 1st, their best prospect in Kapanan who was well received at that point and some other stuff.
That was for a damaged good Kessel who ran himself out of TOR with the media hating on him.

If you don't think Lekkerimaki is going out the door to bring someone like Guentzel in, then you frankly don't know JR or what it takes to bring someone like Guentzel in to begin with.
