Honestly I think he’ll be a bit of a gem in the 2023 draft. 6th round pick and looks good in the WHL

Hanzel was a guy I really wanted the Leafs to draft last year. Very big fan of his game, the Avs have got a good one here. Love to see it!

21 YO in the CHL and can't even put up a PPG. Not great even for a defender.

He was on the worst team in the WHL this year. And played very well. He looked really good in camp as well. I've seen him play a few times live this year and he was the best player on Seattle by a mile. I think the Avs may have something here. Maybe no more than a 5/6 guy. But I can see some NHL potential here.
