Our defense prospect pool is terrible, that really means nothing. Thompson is a solid prospect, nothing too special.

Good add, disappointing price. Considering there was no retention I wish it was for cheaper or it was Crozier instead of Thompson the other way.

This should solidify the 2nd line in the O zone. But Cirelli will be working his tail off in the D zone w/ Stammer and Duc as his wingers. And still haven't addressed the blue line.

Fit is solid, but I think it may have been a little overpay without retention is the problem but idk much about Thompson (is a 3rd + Thompson > a 2nd?)

thompson to me is worth like a high 2nd late 1st, insanely good at keeping guys to the outside and is good on the cycle in the O-zone and keeping pucks in when the other team is trying to clear them. In terms of your pool he is probably tied for the best defenseman with Mukhamadullin

Yeah Duclair, the Sheary 2.0 who’s going to walk in free agency. Gave away the best d prospect just to make feel the NHL boys like they had support from the front office and that they could compete for the cup. Only have a 5th rounder for this summer. Then we complain that the prospect pool is ass. Well no **** you just gave away a whole draft class for Jeannot and now you gave the only decent pick and prospect you had. Florida is just going to eat y’all in the 1st round. JBB still hasn’t adressed the defence
