    This. Even if it was a 2026 3rd, it's gotta be at least a mid round pick. a 2024 7th is future considerations with less steps.

    In Chicago, TJ is still a useful top 6 player. And the retention amount alone is worth more than a 5th.

    He sits at 2M so not a terrible amount. I am not sure this is the market for him, but I don't think the Caps would trade him for anything less than a 3rd.
