Self evidently untrue. If Goodrow were remotely worth his cap hit, Rangers wouldn't have needed to bring another depth center in. Between Kakko and Goodrow, that is 9 goals and 21 points in 104 games. Not good value for $5.5m and 100% of NHL GMs would view it that way. Kakko might have upside value, but looks to be a bust at this time. Goodrow is a liability contract to every NHL team.

Nice try again. We retired 3 Fs Chytil Wheeler & Bonino, are playing rookie Cuylle, newbies Rempe & Edstrom, ahler Brodzinski, had Pitlick Leschy Nash Blidh. Thanks to Goody & Vesey being gold on the 4th, our core can focus on playing. Here we are chugging along, steady eddy, while our stars are still waking up. Kakko looks good and will be good. Kakko is draft+5 and a 3rd liner. I didn't say he has no value, but he is definitely a bust based on expectations. A good defensive winger with limited offensive aptitude isn't worth a ton even on a min. contract. Goodrow has to be retained, traded with a sweetener, or bought out because he is a liability on his contract. Meaning of negative net value. Again, self-evidently true to 31 other front offices.
