Savoie is a great prospect, but hes not worth a 1st (even if its FLA) and an established NHL'er

He was a top 10 pick only 2 years ago. There’s no way his performance has degraded so much that he isn’t worth first round pick 20 spots lower, and a reasonably good third line Center, which is what Laughton would be in Buffalo. That’s ridiculous.

Rumor had GMDB asking for equivalent of two 1sts for Laughton. Way too steep if accurate. But this probably doesn't get it done

laughton might be worth one late first round pick. if any gm gave up two first round picks for a 30 year old with a career high of 43 points they should automatically be fired into the sun

Agreed! Decent enough contact for what you are getting but I would think cheaper options are available
