Probably unrealistic because LA was not on the list of teams to which Crosby said he would entertain a trade, but this would set up a likely Crosby vs McDavid matchup every season until he retires.

The Arvidsson contract is the Connor Brown contract with games played performance bonuses deferred to next season.

Tbh I think the list would be Colorado and Montreal and that’s it. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if he says he refuses to go to any other team.

There was nothing official, but a few different outlets said that Crosby doesn't want to move, but would be open to moving to those three teams under the right conditions. They talked about it on NHL Radio as well.

I'm trying to find it on Twitter, but I don't have an account and these days it's impossible to search Twitter without an account.

Yeah that's fair, just curious. I hope he does and man Pittsburgh could use those assets.

I'd love for him to request a trade to one of a couple places and get another chance to win a SC. Get back some great futures and force a rebuild would be great. Doubt that happens. I expect Friedman to be correct, he extends two or three years and then retires.

I've seen nothing to suggest he is open to moving. That sounds like speculation. Granted that is nothing more than we have to go on, but anyone in here can make that speculation as well. Friedman explicitly said he was expecting an extension to be signed immediately on July 1st. Think Seravelli has said the same. I'd be fine if he wanted to go. It's more than fair if he gave a list of teams. But doubt it is happening.
