The "A prospect, a roster player, and a first" formula works on a player about to hit free agency that the team doesn't plan on keeping, it doesn't work to land a young star asset.

If you want Zegras, you need to offer blue chip pieces.

This is the best team and the most fun season we've had in literally 10 years. Things have fallen off a cliff a bit for some unknown reason but that doesn't erase the progress that they've made this year. They are still sitting in a WC spot when no one expected them to be there. It's amazing how many people can't see that.
