That is way too much for a player who, if he stayed healthy in each year that he had played so far, would have averaged between 35 and 40 points per year.

Too much but it would take this for drury to let him go. Only 1 GM values him this much.

THIS. Drury has no reason to give up Kakko for anything less than a massive overpayment. He doesn't cost much and he's a very serviceable NHLer that still has upside-- he's only 23 years old.

that's why I overpay because I know that my 3rd line would be ludicrously good on 200ft

Habs GM definitely doesn’t overpay for Kakko like this lol probably better off with an offer sheet
