These are various proposals I've seen on here in relation to 24-25.

However, As Johansen reported with an injury and is unable to play or be re-assigned to minors (saving cap) and possibly not even bought out during summer, (can't buy out an injured player), the league might look at compensation from COL to PHI. The league is now looking into it, I would expect if the league rules that COL knew of nagging injury, even though he was playing, but did not disclose prior to trade, they might penalize COL. If they penalize, what is a 2 yr 4mil cap dump worth? A 2nd?

Why would the Leafs, or any team, trade for Risto when they can sign a better RHD in FA to better contract (term & aav are both issues) with no acquisition cost

The Sabres might like Noah Cates, but not enough to pay that price. They would probably rather keep Jokiharju and forget about Grans. Cates isn’t worth one of our top prospects by himself, and Philly doesn’t have something else to offer that we’d actually want. Lucky for you Buffalo has so many prospects they can offer one or 2 of their lesser ones, and they would still be some of your better ones.
