I don’t mind the idea of Perbix as a #3 right side depth d-man, not sure I would give up a 3rd for him though. The Hawks should be able to get someone comparable, if not better in FA for nothing more then money.

Eight years for Duclair?! He's a decent player, but signing him through his age-37 season is nuts.

Forego Dumba signing

Keep Perbix as 6/7D

Go after Schultz, Shatt, Myers if they sign cheap 1-2 year deal

or

Trade for cheap RD with that first
