"Asking out?" Well if he doesn't like playing for the Sens, he can always retire. Matthew Brady, he had just ONE more season till UFA, Don't know if ever "asked out", but he musta told the Flames, he wasn't resigning with them..
Like the trade for the Sens, but Marchment's 10 ten no trade list might include the Sens.

Yeah Ottawa doesn't even listen to that offer. Tkachuk won't be going anywhere. If he were to be traded? With 3 years left on his deal Dallas will have to be giving up a key piece from Dallas' roster....

Hintz, W. Johnston, 2025 & 26 1st round picks likely gets the convo going. Ottawa is not in rebuild, so sending us prospects especially without Stankoven, isn't going to get it done.

Ottawa would be the team adding in a Hintz for Tkachuk swap lol

Let alone getting Wyatt Johnston and 2 1sts (bigger than any package ever)

I don't think there's a single asset in hockey worth 7 years of Hintz, Wyatt Johnstson, and 2 1sts.

I would not trade 7 years of Hintz at 8.4 mill, 1 year of Wyatt Johnson at 900k+4 years of RFA control, and 2 1sts for 2 years of McDavid at 12.5 mill

Who do you think Brady Tkachuk is? Prime Gretzky?

    Hintz > Tkachuk

Asking for Johnston and 2 1sts on top of him is insane

He is the game's premiere power forfard. You're not landing a 20 goal 40-50 point solid forward. He;s a superstar power forward in the class ok Keith Tkachuk and Eric Lindros..... Guys who can rack up 150 PIM's and still score 80 points a year. Currently, only his brother can do the same and he doesn't bring the same element of physicality Brady does, and Matthew even admits it.

    He's not a superstar.

Lindros was a 50 goal, 115 point pace player.

Brady Tkachuk is a 35 goal, 75 point player.

I'm saying he is in that mold of player. Like I said players that play the type of gme like Tkachuk are hard to find today. Back when Lindros played there was Tochet, Leclaire, Iginla.... Today? You have Tkachuk and Tom Wilson, and Wilson doesn't put up nearly the points Tkachuk does.
