I think the sharks decline. Smith looks like he could be a superstar. Don’t get me wrong I like Hutson but I think smith is worth more than that.

SJ declines hard. No chance they even consider trading an excellent center prospect for a late 1st and LOL Hutson! Heck if he was available Calgary would not only beat this offer, they'd blow it right out of the water. Picking up a top notch right shot center prospect like Smith would be incredible for Calgary.

Whens the last time first overall got moved? seems like a long time, even in any sport tbh (besides for Bryce Young lol but NFL is way different with positional value)

I understand the thought that if we get Celebrini a legit 1C we don’t need Smith cause he plays the same position but sharks lost Couture and Hertl this year, Couture to injury and Hertl to a trade, sharks need 2 top C to rebuild around and Smith has far more value right now that that offer! And no slight to Huston but we already have a deep LD prospect group and are looking for size right now.
