And I think your argument is exactly why the Canucks pass. Hronek may not be "elite", but his last couole seasons may put him in "star" conversation. And if that is the case, hate to tell you, Pinto is light

myers is gone so is cole, CARSON SOUCY is a left shot, Hronek is their best RD and its not even close. they need him more than Pinto

Our only other right shot regular Dman is Tyler Myers? And I guess Noah Juulsen occasionally plays but would you flip Tkachuk because you have Matthieu Joseph?

No way; an OTT fan wouldn't trade Pinto for Hronek and stick themselves with 3 D-men making $8mil+ per year, especially when Hronek has only exploded next to Hughes and before that was a ~$6mil-ish player. Sounds like a short sighted "hockey fan" rather than a real VAN or OTT fan

Sens pass. We can just overpay someone in this free agency and keep Pinto. Especially with Norris future being questionable, if we trade Pinto for a RD we'd then have a hole at C.
